This is a recent fan letter from Tanita in La Crescenta, CA.

it’s amazing! i’m babysitting my nephew today and after being changed and fed he still has a screaming/crying fit. my guess is he’s too accustomed to being held all the freaking time and i’m trying to ween him off of that. i was looking for something to distract him when i put on the music video. after watching it for a few seconds he shut up. when the video ended he started freaking out again. i put it on again and he was fine. it’s worked 5 times already and he’s completely calm right now. THANK YOU L.B. RAYNE!!

i think it’s because the video is so colorful and there’s a lot of things going on that he’s basically thinking “wtf??”
